RESEARCH PARTNERS

TRA is based at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne – Australia’s leading teaching, learning and research university.


The University of Sydney’s Charles Perkins Centre hosts a TRA node in its world-renowned research and education hub.


The Australian Research Council funds specific twin research studies throughout Australia.


Twins Research Australia has received continuous funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) since 1981, most recently through a Centre of Research Excellence Grant (2015-2022). 


TRA undertakes frequent research collaborations with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute into childhood medical conditions. 


TRA is a member of the International Society for Twin Studies.


TRA is a member of the International Network of Twin Registries.
