Eligibility: Open to past adult twin participants of the study (i.e. you must have participated in at least one of our COVID-19 surveys in 2020).

TRACKERR, the Twins Research Australia COVID-19 Knowledge, Experience, Reaction and Resilience Study, is investigating the pandemic’s short, medium and long-term impacts on Australian families. The study is led by Twins Research Australia based at the University of Melbourne.

The study is seeking to better understand both genetic and environmental factors, and how they combine, to affect families’ health and experiences of the pandemic.

In 2020, we sent out two surveys to all adult twins members of TRA and are now following up past participants with a third survey. This third adult survey is looking at how our behaviours, attitudes, health and wellbeing have changed over time.

What is involved?

If you are invited and agree to participate, you will be asked to fill out an online survey with questions related to COVID-19 and your health and wellbeing. We will ask about your response to the many recent changes to our society, and how you have been coping physically, mentally, socially and financially. We will also ask you about potential symptoms, tests and diagnosis of COVID-19.

The current survey (Survey 3) will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

At all times the research results will not identify the individuals or families involved. Data linkage is confidential and is achieved by a de-identified code number linked to our research results.

Who is eligible?

Past adult twin participants of the study (i.e. you must have participated in at least one of our COVID-19 surveys in 2020).
