The ATR could not get by without the wonderful support of its many friends!

Every day in little ways, and in big ways, friends of the ATR make our work possible.

They may participate in a twin health study, make a donation, or volunteer as an ATR ambassador to promote twin research.

There is a wealth of talent amongst our members, and many have expressed their interest in using these talents to support the registry and its work. In response, the ATR is launching a new volunteer group – Friends of the ATR.

Friends of the ATR is a forum for our members’ skills, passions and interests - whatever they might be. It provides the opportunity to become more involved in the ATR and to shape the future of twin research to benefit the health of everyone.

Here are some of the benefits:

  • Receive invitations to forums to provide input into our projects
  • Take part in events in your local area such as twins festivals, media events and fundraising
  • Pilot new studies
  • Connect with like-minded others, meet new people, and build friendships

Membership is free and open to any Australian resident who is a current ATR member. To join in, simply apply online here.

We look forward to connecting with our many friends!
